I finally had a chance to walk on the Rhododendron Path at the Arboretum today. It's in a quiet spot where rhododendrons as big as trees grow alongside a brook.
Some of the rhododendrons were gone by, and they had all been rained on heavily yesterday and through the night. So they weren't at their best. Still, it's a beautiful corner of the Arboretum--it looks like the woods of New Hampshire or somewhere like that, although it is within the city of Boston.
