This tree has fascinated me for weeks as I pass by on the bus into town. It looks as though it's about to fall on to the house any minute, but I believe it's the way it's growing. Today I had time to photograph it, but wouldn't you know, the owner of the house returned as I was getting ready to take a picture, so I had to do it quickly, therefore losing the angle showing it at its best.
@pdulis@nicoleterheide thank you. I really think it looks better from the bus, but the windows are always too smeary for a photo, or bus is going too fast.....
At least you did get a shot. If you have another chance, and the owner is about, you could ask the owners if they'd mind your taking a picture of the tree. Have a bit of a chat first and tell them the tree has been fascinating you, has it been growing like that all along? Etc etc I does seem to be leaning at quite an angle.
@mcsiegle Thanks Mary, I thought it was collapsing at first the angle of the branch is so acute! Think I may get a better shot from over the road, it must make the house very dark.
