@geertje Sorry I had to delete the first posting (and a few comments along with it). For some reason, the shot did not show up on my project page. It was blank. The problem corrected itself when I deleted the shot and reloaded it.

Kari - This is a type of dahlia with darker colors on the bottom of the petals. They are simply stunning in person.
