Another busy day, and my camera never left my purse, so a filler of sorts from last week. Another attempt at HDR... since PSE only auto-aligns three photos, and I had six different exposures for this shot, I grouped them into twos to create "dark," "medium," and "light" HDR composites then used those three composites to get this one. Life, like HDR, seems to be about striking a balance between dark and light. I don't feel like I'm doing that right now, but I also recognize that, as with all things, I am just cycling through something. Each end of the spectrum makes me appreciate the other end, as well as the middle.
I have decided to quit posting here...it was kind of a long time coming. I haven't been posting regularly for months anyway. I will still stop in and check in. But as far as photos go, I feel like it is time to move on. I have learned a lot and pushed myself in disciplines I have never tried. Its time to focus on fine tuning and improving. I feel there are other places that facilitate this in a better fashion. I decided to post this here, rather than do a big sappy write up! (Yes I am putting this on everyone's photos that I feel are my friends here so just know you are special to me but copy and paste is easier for this kind of thing:) )
@shadesofgrey somehow, "thank you" seems insufficient, even though it is very much heart-felt... because of you, I've learned new things, tried new things, and maybe improved just a little along the way... as I also find myself being pulled in many directions lately, and wanting to avoid massive uploads, I'm also at a bit of a cross-roads and have been thinking about my options these past few days. Not being on 365 as much, and not sure what the future holds, I will do my best to keep an eye out for your occasional drop-in :) and, if you ever want to photograph the Tri-Cities and surrounding region (because we really aren't all that far from Montana, relatively speaking), drop me a line... or better yet, join all the Paula's (and us "wanna-bes") in Tahoe this summer!
