I see a lot of flowers in my work with funerals, weddings, Sunday worship, etc. and have learned that roses don't smell anymore because people wanted them to last longer. So they bred the aroma out in order to accomplish that goal. Lilies, however, still smell AMAZZZZING! I wish you could smell their scent as I prepared for a funeral today.
