I attended the Womens March today In Portland. The news is estimating there were 10,000 of us there marching in solidarity for human rights, love, equality, the environment and more. I'm hearing that marches all across the country were overwhelmed by the attendance figures! Hopefully someone in Washington is paying attention! This is a collage of some of my favorites protest signs from today! I didn't get a picture of one but it said "Make America Think Again!"
Some creativity in sign design - agree with Jerome's statement that a statesman should unite not split a society. Lots of prayers going up for that message to get through.
"Make America Think Again" doesn't seem to be well-represented by the words on those signs...personally, they sound like outraged juveniles who cannot articulate themselves better. They're petty and peevish. This doesn't seem like a deep-thinking "collective consciousness" with whom I'd wish to spend a great deal of time, and while I fully agree with Jerome, @jerome "I think a statesman should not split a society but unite." It was a failure under Obama, and we didn't need another criminal (think Nixon years) in office!
There is very, very much to say - about human rights, justice, love, environment,...
Think... Yes We Can!
I think a statesman should not split a society but unite.
