Day 50: Swirly movement

It seems fitting that for my 50th photo for the 100 Happy Days challenge I should actually do something I was dreading. The theme for ONS today is Motion photography. Not being one for panning, I was wondering how I was going to do this. I spent the day playing with zoom blur and had some success. Then I bought this cute posy of flowers and decided to try ICM with them. I started with straight up and down (boring), then diagonally (a little more interesting), then finally this version which I did with a little twirl of the camera. That's as good as it gets folks!
It's very effective, especially as you can still see what it is :)

A very nice effect created as if the vase of flowers was doing its own little twirly dance.

I really like this. It looks even more intriguing if you zoom into it.

Good for you- I totally misunderstood the assignment and thought it could only be a panning shot- which I can't do to save my life, so I totally copped out on it!
