What's in the nest? by dide

What's in the nest?

There is a bumble bee nest out in the grass - it has been there for ages. The bees can be seen emerging to go off and forage for pollen and nectar. I haven't managed to get one returning covered with pollen yet!
It seems they have chewed a few blades of grass back from around the entrance to the nest. Very interesting to observe them.
Awesome, don't think I have ever seen a bumble bee nest..

@julzmaioro the nest is under the ground, so I don't actually know what it is like either.

Excellent macro. You have somehow captured the snuggly personality of the bumblebee. A fav.

Fascinating detail on this nimble bee. I will use the same adjective to describe your album... follow with excitement of what you have reserved for the future :)
