Apricot slice by dide

Apricot slice

There has been rain with high winds all day in Mosgiel. My sister Carrie and I went for a long (wet) walk- we came back for some well deserved afternoon tea. This apricot slice is Carrie's speciality and coming from Central Otago, there's always apricots to be had. It's very yummy!
This looks so lush...where's the recipe

If one of the goals of a photo is to inspire a reaction, this one has succeeded! I now so want a bit of cake, or a muffin or something sweet like this. I envy you your fresh apricots too.
