Christmas pavlova by dide

Christmas pavlova

We had a lovely family day today, with six for lunch and 10 for dinner. When it's family, everybody pitches in and it makes it pretty easy. We had heaps of fresh veges from the garden - lettuce, courgettes, peas, beans and potatoes.
Delicious, I love pavlova. Christmas wishes to you and your family Dianne :)

Your Pav is WoW - and I love the way you have framed and processed it. No doubt it was devoured to the last berry.

I don't care which side of the ditch invented pavs, I'll eat 'em any time anywhere. This is very enticing indeed. Great shot.

Yum! This year was the first time in many I didn't make a pav for Christmas. I did make ice cream though, with fresh strawberries and raspberries from my garden.

So, you made me look up Pavlova, and now I want some!!! What a delicious looking desert, and I love the fact that it is always decorated with seasonal fruit. What a nice accompaniment to any meal.

That looks so yummy. We had Pavlova for Christmas too that my kiwi friend made, although I don't recall ever having it for Christmas growing up in NZ. Is it quite traditional over there?

@kiwichick Yes, I guess that it is more common now - and if you don't want to make it, the supermarkets sell both pavs and meringues.
