The Camera Club set subject for August is 'product photography'. I have decided to have a rural take on this topic. 'Real' farmers in NZ wear Redbands. I love mine and really get my money's worth from them! Here is an attempt on the set topic.
@ethelperry I'm dreaming up some more ideas, but the weather is rather horrible. I'm thinking maybe a tent at night with a lantern inside it, then the product to be a hot bowl of baked beans (with the tin as well) outside the tent….- thinking light painting and steam, but who knows if it will eventuate!
Great shot. The composition, focus, and subject matter are fabulous. Well done. I haven't seen any Redband gumboots in Tasmania but I shall look out for them. A fav
I too love the look of red bands & wanted to buy my grandsons a pair each but Anthony said they were Rubbish, not sure if he meant for farming or for lasting! I agree with @ @julzmaioro they look very clean! You are perhaps like me & have a pair for decent places such as shows & then a pair for doing the work! I think Anthony is used to UK wellies!
( Sorry Dianne credit it to Nova in error) Great composition detail and colour Dianne, Wellies are a fundamental part of any farmers kit the world over they can always identify the best ones to wear)
