This is my home town, of course! A nice photo of this little station. On Sundays a small train leaves here, trundles along past the historic buildings, across by the adventure playground and chugs its way around the harbour to where the penguins come in. Sometimes its a steam engine!
I spent a few hours in Oamaru some years back and just loved the whole place. I could've spent ages and ages there, so much industrial history to take in. Love this shot with the old weather-board building.
