Action at the A&P show

I had fun today watching the sheep dog trials at the Hamilton A&P show. There always seems to be one out of the group of three sheep that will try to escape. I was impressed with the man (in top right image) - he didn't even have a stick!
Great set of images .. great to see this in action .. Farmer Georges Grand Father was North Island champ in 1946 for heading dog like you have in these shots..

Wonderful collage with lots of interest Dianne, both man and dog in perfect harmony, its great to see them at work, most hill farmers use dogs and Quad bikes over here and you can always see them competing at the agricultural shows:)

Super collage of images! Love the sheep. Are they Merinos? My dad passed me a book, years ago, about a sheep called Shrek - found in the mountains after wandering for years - a fun read about a very interesting NZ sheep! I believe he's now passed on to greener pastures. :-(
