A photographer's dream

Waihi railway station is a photographer's dream destination. Last night just before sunset, the light was great for taking photos. The station is still used for a vintage diesel engine and the train runs to Waikino (6.5 kms) and back. We managed our cycle trail alongside the river to Waikino - 10 km each way. Very windy against us to get there, but a dream ride with the wind behind us on the way back.
