A few images of the Waharau Regional Park where I was walking late yesterday. We camped in this paddock and had the whole thing to ourselves. When we left, we passed a free camping area along the coastline 'Ray's Rest' it is called - it was thoroughly crowded with about 50 vans all packed in close. We pay $135 per year to have a Regional Parks Pass - it is certainly worthwhile and we have lots of parks around an hour from home.
