Another image from my wander around Waiuku last night. This bank is immaculately kept and is a lovely old building. This is the dreaded 'bank corner' … when I was learning to drive, we would have to do a 'hill start' on this corner, in a manual drive car. Then when our kids learnt to drive, they too dreaded the 'bank corner'!

Lovely glowing night scene of an interesting old building. The starburst of lighting make a great counterpoise. Love your story about that corner. I learned to drive in Melbourne and there was a notorious hill involved there too, so I know only too well what you mean.
