Kiwi Road

This is the 'road' we explored in the pouring rain while away for the weekend. It was very narrow and in terrible condition and very scary in patches! It is around the back of Mt Messenger in Taranaki NZ. All I can say is that we survived and were thankful not to meet any oncoming vehicles! BUT it was beautiful scenery...

I always get very apprehensive when driving narrow roads, what if you meet another car & have to back up, steep slopes at the side too. W
