My great niece is staying here with her grandmother (my sister). This afternoon we had a great time outside collecting eggs, picking peaches, picking corn and digging potatoes ready for dinner. She found the teeniest tiniest potato and was happy to have it cooked for part of her dinner. At three, she is competent in the kitchen, beating eggs and helping make the quiche for dinner. She has a great sense of humour and is very articulate.
