Awhitu sunset

We are away overnight at the local regional park. We had a quick walk along the beach as the sun was setting and there were some lovely cloud formations. We made the most of the sunset, as I don’t think the weather will be any good for a sunrise image - more rain is predicted.

@yorkshirekiwi yes we’re lucky - 25 minutes and we are there. Left home at 4.30 pm - catch the sunset, have a walk, sunrise, leisurely breakfast and then home. Nice mini break. We have an annual camping pass which allows us to stay in any Auckland Regional Park for up to 3 nights and is only $135 per annum.
