Yesterday, Jesse and one of his workmates climbed Mt Taranaki. Obviously this isn’t my image, but one for the record. He’s very fit and enjoys a challenge. As far as I know, only two people from my family have been up here - Jesse and my sister Carrie. Well done you two!
Madness! We had actually tried to visit the North Taranaki visitor centre and goblin forest yesterday but there was no room in the car park because of a "hiking event"...I presume this was part of it.
Wow that is so high....I once went halfway up in the car to the place where you can stop. It was in the half dark & I thought it really creepy, was glad to get back down....looks a lovely clear day! Think I didn’t like the thought of being up a volcano! Great photo.
