Time today to put the ear tags in the two new long-horn calves. They are lovely little calves, but a pity they are both a plain brown and don't have nice spotty coats. Josh would love to tame them down, but it's a bit tricky with their very long-horned protective mothers!
I don't think the soft touch goes well with these longhorn cattle! Gumboots and hoofs star here!

@maggiemae This little one's mum was a show cow and is pretty tame, but a different story with a calf at hoof.
