Look carefully at the curve at the end of the beach - where we parked the van is marked with a cross. It was a lovely spot to stay and have beach walks, bike rides and fishing. It was here that we were so far from the showers, we rode our bikes to them! It was our choice to camp way across the paddock next to the beach and it was lovely.
@joansmor yes - it was a huge paddock, with only four lots of campers in it. There was a cafe there that was made from an old cowshed, a woodfired pizza oven and a comfortable communal area with lots of books.
Sleeping next to the beach would sound lovely!
