These innocent looking little grass seed-heads cause me grief at this time of the year. Each year, about the middle of November I need to begin taking antihistamine tablets. For a while I thought I had 'grown out' of my allergy, but it appears not! Still, it is not as bad as some people who suffer from asthma.
Oh dear, I used to have terrible hay fever but when I was in my late 20s I had a series of injections over three months during the winter and fingers crossed 50 years later still no more hay fever since.
I pity anyone with a hay fever problem. I only saw the result when my daughter married a sufferer. Now my SIL & grandson are the same as you…spoils their summer. Lovely image of this little culprit.
