We are headed down the North Island on our way to the South Island. Today we travelled as far as Mangakino and are staying by Lake Maraetai. We stopped to have a look at the Waipapa dam spillwater which was overflowing at a great rate of knots. This little door was on the other side of the road and caught my eye - goodness knows what lies on the other side of it...
