These Colors Do Not Run by digitalrn

These Colors Do Not Run

I was playing around with the histogram and somehow I managed to get this colorful background, but yet the Red, White, and Blue stayed itact. I realize it is a bit strange, but yet I thought it was kind of neat, and I immediately thought of that one saying, I believe used by the United States Marine Corp, "These Colors Do Not Run!" So I thought, how appropriate to incorporate that in our National Pride Week. Hope you enjoy.

lol it was meant to be. everything worked out perfectly!!
The colorful background could also represent the diverse people of America and how we all some how manage to work together even though we are different.

I like how all the colors do run except for the flag. Your guess of, "the bait" was a good one, but the one that got away was the fisherman. Probably had been needing to for a long time. :)
July 3rd, 2010
Very appropriate for the theme and very imaginative. Have you figured out why the flag was not affected by your tweaking?
July 3rd, 2010
Wow, very cool that the flag stayed its normal color! Very nice!

Awesome shot Rick, love all the colors! my fireworks pics were taken in Orwigsburg (Schuylkill County). We were pretty far away from them, so I think that contributed to my shooting problems, but we all had a blast watching them!

Beautiful Beautiful - love it. I thought you may have done the background as a photo and then added the Flag. Wonderful shot. I looked at the photo and thought it reminded of the flag (???) when they walked on the moon???? DON'T ASK. cause I don't have an answer.
I was just popping past and saw it and had to stop and take a look.
