I have been fighting with my computer since last evening, having trouble with my modem. It is finally fixed, but it put me way behind in viewing your photos and commenting. I finally caught up with themall, and then it hit me, I didn't post a photo for today. Since I had no time to go out today, I started playing around with one of my editing softwares, working with some of my cloud photos, and the one effect created this awesome formation. I liked it so I decided to post it for my daily photo. Right away it reminded me of a tidalwave. I found some neat tools in this program so I'll be playing some more. I love the abstract type effects.
very cool Rick! Just got Paint Shop Pro X2 Ultimate yesterday. It is a lot harder to navigate the Picnic, but I'm having fun trying out all the neat stuff you can do with it.
I love that swirl!! I was just going to say that it looks like a painting, when I saw Laura's comment above - the colros are exactly like in Starry Night! Gorgeous abstract shot, Rick!
I love it! You are going to have a ton of fun playing around with this! (The suitcase is a medium rolling suitcase, and since it is supposed to be very hot where we are going, we packed light clothing. Thank you, it was a fun shot to take.)
I thought the same thing as Laura, "Starry Night by Van Gogh"
Very cool.
Thanks for all your nice comments on my photos, especially my dog album. I know you too are a dog lover and we have the same appreciation for the canine.
I can see the hint of "the sunset that was", but you ended up with an additionally nice picture! I could play for hours doing this sort of thing...the "process" is as much fun as the "outcome"!
yeah I second the Van comment... reminds me of oil... and in answer to your question if they all work... yes... most everything I have posted lately is from film.. hence the lag... I don't have time to get into the darkroom, and I don't have the money to pay someone else to do it...
Nicely done.
Very cool.
