Lord, There Are Times I Need To Be Alone
To Walk In The Comfort Of Your Light
To Reflect On Your Never Ending Love
Lord, Rekindle In My Heart, New Life
Help Me To Find Purpose For Each New Tomorrow
(Words By Rick Schies)
I saw this cat just walking so carefree, just wandering slowly down the field. I called to him, he stopped briefly and then continued his walk. I sensed he wanted to be alone, didn't want to be bothered. He needed time alone as we sometimes do. You know how it is. After a busy day, dealing with "not so friendly" people, struggling with those never ending worries that keep playing in your head, not knowing what else to do, where else to turn. That's when we need that quiet, intimate time alone. Time to think, to pray, or just unwind. Whatever it takes to help you come to a solution to your troubled heart. It can be so refreshing.
I love this picture and your words are so perfect. Life as I seem to know seems to be unravelling around me and I am finding myself surrounded by hurting, lost and lonely people and feeling completely inadequate to help them. This is a reminder to me that I need to spend some time alone with God asking Him to equip me so I can reach out to those who shouldn't be alone right now.
This is a great shot, and the caption and what you said... just perfectly make up what I thought when looked at it! Thanks for your comments on my latest shots! I know I haven't been so consistent lately. It's good to know 365 stands by!
You are right! After a day's work it's refreshing to take a picture like listening to music. I like the depth of field and hazy building on the back -ground.
What a lovely photo Richard. Not needing a moment to be alone for the present as I'm busy counting my blessings for time with my girls. The day will come, of course, and I'll be grateful for the days that have been so full. Happy to have a little time at the end of the day to say thanks for your note and that I wouldn't have wanted to miss your picture and thoughtful caption this evening!
FAV! Love the subject (both literal and figuative) and the composition of this shot (especially the DOF! Your commentary immediately reminded me of Tanya's post a couple of days ago. Have you seen it? http://365project.org/palusami/365/2010-09-14
the cat who wants to be alone - or else he's saying 'oi scat or you'll frighten this mouse away ... ' Love the mix of yellows and greens in the grass and those two perky long stems.
Wonderful composition and depth of field. I agree with your words too. My alone time is spent taking pictures. It really does feed my soul. After 20+ years of being a stay at home mom and doing everything for everyone else, I am having so much fun doing something that is only for me.
Gorgeous shot!
You asked the other day on my Bliss shot http://365project.org/jodogz/365/2010-09-18 if Cockatoos are like doves. They mate for life and if they're a pet and aren't introduced to another parrot to bond with, they can bond to their human as their mate. Which can cause huge problems with jealousy of the other people in the house, especially if the person has a husband/wife. It can lead to extremely naughty behaviour against the other person.
Thank you!
