You never know who or what is lurking in the shadows. You hear horrific stories every day of inocent people disappearing, senseless attacks on the unsuspecting. Be aware of where you are going. Try not to be wandering out there on your own. Go with friends, stay in well lit areas. Carry some type of personal protection, a loud alarm, pepper spray, or better yet, travel in groups. Parents, remind your children over and over again of the dangers that are out there. The intention is not to frighten them, but rather to increase their awareness. Don't become a statistic. This time of the year is intended to have fun. Let's enjoy it.
Ok... yours is a whole lot spookier than mine! lol... well done, good editing, and very important words. Note: do not check pepper spray potency by spraying in an envelope...blonde moment of tears will ensue. ;-)
AMEN! It's scary to think of what things can happen 'out there'. I can't remember it being nearly as much an issue when I was a kid as it seems to be now. Oh how the world changes...or did it really change? Weren't the "lurkers" always there? Did they mulitply or something ?? Hmmm... one may never know, but thanks for your safety message! I shall now do the safety dance!
Very spooky! Great advice too. I try to be very aware of my surroundings at all times. I think young people need to remember that as well. I do have pepper spray that I carry on occasion as well. I really should carry it all the time.
Love your photo.
Thanks for the reminder!
Thanks for your kind words on my tribute to Edd x
