My Wife is away all week, day two and I am bored. My wife, her twin Sister and their Mother went by bus to Charlotte, NC to help in the packaging of Christmas boxes for Operation Christmas Child. After I came home from work tonight I played with the puppies awhile, took my Son to work, and then ate supper. I decided I needed something else to do. I knew I needed a photo for tonight, so I decided to play in the water a little while. Never did the water drop shot before so I figured now was as good a time as any to experiment. Actually, I was quite amazed at how this turned out. Nothing spectacular I know, but it looks like I have diamonds dripping from my faucet. I am richer than I thought I was. I think they are quite vivid, don't you?
awesome! They are beautiful, and I totally agree that it looks like a strand of diamonds... now, to figure out how to harness your faucet's diamond-making-ability for profit ;)
Very nice Rick....love the conrast you get with the black background! You're right, they DO look like diamonds! Pretty awesome for your first time! I hope the week flies by for you! :)
SO cool rick!! and how fun for your wife--my family has stuffed many a box for operation christmas child through my boys' school! hope your week without her passes quickly for you!
Your wife is only a couple of hours away from us! That is very thoughtful of her to do, though I know it's tough having your spouse away.
Nice job on this photo--very sparkling!
Well, your wife is doing it for a great cause. Our 4H group sent 5 boxes this year up from two last year. Our church sent 20 boxes plus our 5. Love to do this every year. Great photo, I agree about the diamonds. Great first try. :-)
That is lovely Rick, I have been helping with Christmas Child boxes but this year didn't - bought all the things but with hubby not having much 'get up and go' these days, the things are still all under the bed. Oh well there is alwasy Barnardo's - Salvo's etc etc, I may still get to feel the joy of that giving.
Anyway you realise many of us will be rushing off to our taps to find Diamonds.
And thank you for all your kind comments :)
