A Brisk Chilling Breeze
For Winter Now Is Bidding
The Silhouette Of Trees
As Day's Sun Now Is Setting
Darkness Slowly Makes Its Way
As Daylight Now Is Fading
Moonlight Soon To Have Its Way
The Night Is Finally Calling
Rest Your Heart Who's Weary
That Peace May Find Its Way
For Soon The Day's Sun Rising
To Start A Brand New Day
(R. Schies)
As I left work earlier this evening, and while driving home, I spotted this gorgeous sunset. I had no other choice but to pull off the side of the road, as I could not allow it to pass without a photo. Just minutes earlier I had taken a few very nice photos, successfully capturing some nice lens flares. I will need to post those in the next few days. This one I just had to capture.
Love the way you framed it to really emphasize the beauty of the sun, setting.
Your poem is lovely, too. Using the present tense throughout gives such a sense of immediacy.
This is gorgeous Rick, you are blessed seeing so many amazing God given glimpses of natures Glory to capture and share with us, your commentary is amazing too, you have such a way with words you seriously need to consider doing something with this gift :)
