It rained most of the day, but I managed to get out again, and in between the rain, I enjoyed being out in the fresh air. With the recent rain, the creeks were high, and the water was running swiftly. I love the sound of rolling waters. It can be so soothing and refreshing. These two ducks were sitting quietly on the rock, and they appeared carefree, perhaps resting from fighting the current. It gave me the impression of how life sometimes moves so swiftly around us. Life happens, and events are not always what we would expect or want, but it happens. Sometimes all we can do is retreat for awhile, find a place of rest, and allow life to go on. Nothing we can do will change it. We need to find a way to get back into the flow of things again, and prepare for the next round.
Love the photo, love the poem, love the thoughts expressed in the commentary you wrote! It does feel like life is moving too fast alot of the time. I, too, love the sound of rushing water. So soothing. Glad you got out today to take this fabulous shot.

There is a large section right down the middle of every ALDI that sells all sorts of power tools, toys, clothing, gadgets manchester, TV's (sometimes). cameras, fishing rods.
If Bernie goes, he nearly always comes home with some new appliance/tool :) - very reasonably priced I might add :)
You missed your calling Rick, you should be designing inspirational posters and greeting cards...no kidding, you're so good at this! Your creative well never seems to run dry! Awesome job on this one.
