When I was out by the lake I noticed that all the green plant life along the shoreline was so nice and green. The rain and sun has brought everything to life. This time of the year is so refreshing with all the new life, and as I was walking around, I spotted a mother duck quietly sitting on her nest of eggs. New life in all forms. Nature is so wonderful, yet there is so much of its beauty that we miss. Momma duck kept her eyes on me all the while I was walking around, so I took care not to get too close. I didn't want to frighten her off her eggs. Soon there will be more new life in the area.
