I cannot believe it, this is photo 364. One more to go, and I've completed one year. It has been an enjoyable experience, and I have enjoyed meeting and following so many wonderfully talented people here on 365. So, after tomorrow, I am not sure what I am going to be doing. This project has triggered a new motivation and desire to get back to my writing, so I've been pulling out my journals and reading through some of them. These two go back to 2001. So much has happened since then. Either way, I want to dedicate more of my time to writing during the next year, and then I have some family photo albums I want to work on as well. I just want to say, I will not have time to be following as many people as I have been in the past year, so if you see that I am no longer following you, please understand, it is nothing personal. Some of you I have truly grown to appreciate, but I will need to trim down my list so it is more manageable in light of the time I will have available to dedicate to 365. You guys have been great. I will admit, it is going to be tough not coming here on a daily basis. The 365 project has become a big part of my life, so it is going to be tough to stay away. We'll see how it all unfolds in the next few months. I do want to say thank you to all of you wonderful people for your kind words of encouragement, and your faithfulness through the year I've been here.
I will certainly miss your input and beautiful writing with your awesome pictures. I guess I will just have to back-track through the ones I've missed. Praying God will bless your new endeavors as faithfully as you have blessed us here.

Great photo & good luck for your plans for the future. I surely will miss you. It's sad so many people have finished their project & don't see them anymore in 365 or only every so often.
Awesome news that you will be getting back to your writing... isnt 365 great in that it can inspire you to re visit our passions again..

Wow! Congrats to you on making it through a year on 365. Good luck with your writing and whatever the future holds. You do have a flair for writing. No ones captions their photos as well as you do.
I'm not quite half-done ("half-baked," maybe?) so I tip my hat to you, Rick! [Was your surgery on your writing hand?] I will still catch up with the photos of yours that I have missed as the semester wound down and I was crazy-busy, so don't mind me there. Best wishes! beautiful photo! that is nice that your going to go back to doing some more writing :) I too, have been keeping a journal since i was 9 years old and have one for EVERY SINGLE year since!! there are so many, haha, but i know one day someone is going to appreciate them :) CONGRATS on finishing your 365 project!!!! As a writer, I had to fav this so I can go back to it for inspiration. I checked back to my first photo/comment in your calendar and was surprised it wasn't that long ago..March 30. but it I feel like I have known you for a long long time..always looking forward to your fantastic pictures not to mention your accompaying words. I will miss both but by going back in your calendar I know I will enjoy what I've missed before. Congratulations! It's been wonderful following you too! I understand that you want to devote time to your writing...you are really good at it, every one of your photos had a great story/commentary to it. Sorry to see you go but glad you have been encouraged to write! You are gifted in your photography and writing and maybe will be able to work the two of them together. Hope if you are unable to visit me on 365 you might drop by my blog once in a while and say hello! (I think you can post comments on my blog) I've only recently started it and am still learning! Even in the thumbnail photo I was really drawn to open up this picture! Why am I not surprised that you keep a journal... You're such an exceptional writer and poet I'm only glad to read you're saving your thoughts for your own journey and to share into the future, I suppose. I saw on Dawnetta's thread your 365th photo, but in my mind you'd compiled many more. What a surprise to see that you've just completed the assignment! Congratulations! I've nearly come to a close as well... Who knows what lies ahead, but then, we ace members have those additional albums...
Rick, its been a real treat following you and reading your many many inspirational meaningful words and so it would be a crime if you did not carry on with writing. Your photography has been a treat to view each day and I always look forward to your kind words. You are well liked and respected in the 365 family and one awesome person!
