Today was another busy one, but my Brother was able to finish room two. My Son was a big help too, as there was lifting involved, and he's much younger than I am. The hallway and two bathrooms to go, and one more day remaining. The photo in the bottom center I captured my Son using the vacuum. That doesn't happen often, so I'm glad I have it as proof that he knows how. That photo is after most of the carpet was ripped up. The upper left is after the flooring was in, and the upper right is after we moved the furniture back in, in particualr, my compter desk, or my "Play Station." I had to get that up and running, after all , there are priorities. I cannot believe the difference in the sound quality in the rooms. It's amazing. And the poor puppies, the are having a problem with traction. Actually it's pretty funny. Cheap entertainment. I'm ready for bed.
Wow - the floor is looking gorgeous! We had to put down some throw rugs when we moved in here - our daughter's dog, Tanner, was just too afraid to walk around on the hardwoods. He has very long legs and he looked like an accident ready to happen. Good job on the collage and the floors! Your son with the vacuum - priceless! :)
Goodness it does look good Rick ! Looks like a major revamp, you won't need to do any cleaning for ages !!! Seriously I think the wooden floors are modern & stylish ! Poor dogs though !!
@cglist Cindy, It's called Allure. If you go on to HomeDepot.com, look under flooring, and you can see the different patterns. It's an amazing floor, and really my Brother says it is one of the easiest ways to install good quality flooring. You can go right over top of the old flooring. It does not adhere to the floor, just eat of the previous panels.
Wow, the rooms look awesome, Rick. We have wood throughout our house (though put linoleum in the bathroom). I love the look and find that with our allergies, it's so much better. Congratulations. You'll love it!!
you will think you are in a new home :)
