I had a wonderful drive into work this morning, full of quiet, healthy reflection. I cut across one of the back roads to check out the creek level at one of my favorite spots to stop, and as I drove down the small side country road in between the trees, I was greeted by this lovely sight. The sky was cloudy, but the sun was trying its best to shine through. I grabbed a few photos. This one was actually a mistake, as the settings were not right, but when I viewed it this evening, I realized it wasn't a mistake. It was actually meat to be. The view I had this morning was just as beautiful, just a little brighter. Uploading a little early tonight. My Wife and I are meeting my one Brother and my Sister for supper. Have a wonderful night.
Wow! I agree, this is not a mistake. How peaceful and stunningly beautiful. One thing about fall is that the sunrises and sunsets get much richer. A fav!
Stunning! And, really, thanks for the sunrise picture. I never see it! First off, I'm not a morning person and secondly, I live on the backside of a hill so by the time the sun peaks over the hill it's already been up an hour or two.
how I envy your rides into work..mine are flanked with shops and dwellings of all sizes, the most open space I see are paved and filled with cars...it is so refreshing to view your drive to work pics =)
Surely you of all people know the saying"God doesn't make mistakes" - no mistake. So glad you went a different way to work - or was that a 'mistake' too/ hahahaha have a wonderful night out.
I wish I could do a mistake like that every day, it looks like a silhouette, by we can still see the green from the tree and from the bushes, this photo is gorgeous
Have a good night too Rick.
