It was a cold, but beautiful day today. A few snow squalls, but that's something I can deal with. When I went out for my noon time break today, the sun was behind the darkened clouds, and the steam coming off the distant smoke stacks looked so cool as it made its way up into the sky. I also took a shot of this in color. Not sure which one I like better. I am leaning more toward this one myself, but you can check out the other one and let me know what you think.
I, too, like the B&W. I think it adds drama and depth. A couple weeks ago we were in PA and we say some big stacks like these? What kind of smoke stacks are they....is it a power plant?
I like this one as it looks like locomotive at first and like the color one for the tones of the glowing clouds. Hard to choose my favorite but imthink the color one because of warm glow and it was not too colorful. It looked like u made it b anew then faded in a bit of the color.
