It Will Get Better

If you remember from a few previous postings, they are building a bridge over our railroad crossings in town. This section is scheudled to be finished in September. When I look at this, I cannot imagine the finshed work, even after looking at the architect's rendition, but I trust the construction crew knows exactly what they are doing.
It must be interesting living next to all this construction. very colorful.

Wow, looks chaotic.

Hmmm, are you sure? I watched a construction crew build a tunnel in Boston (the big dig). It was big, alright, costing millions more than quoted. That said, your picture today is very colorful and interesting! Lots of congestion there.

WOW! That is some organized mess. I hope it works for the better when it's all said and done

It looks like they have a long way to go!

I know the feeling- they are working on a section of our main road called the 209 bypass where they are rerouting the road. I can't imagine what it's going to look like when it's done, but it's just as messy as this right now. It's really amazing how they get it all done. Great shot- love all the stuff in it along with the "road closed" signs. You sort of look at all the construction stuff and say, "Ya think?"!

Don't know how they can figure out anything with all of that "mess!" Looks like it's going to be a long, long summer! Great capture.

Prestressed concrete beams coming in on trucks will have the job done in "no time". Heard that i-5 was and is closing on the weekends to lift the overpass beams into place in Federal Way. Going to take several late nights to get it done.

I too am amazed at the finished product of many road works here in Brisbane too. They seem to start off as a total mess :)

T his is great, Rick! What a jumble of color and material! It comes together to make great artwork.
March 9th, 2012
Makes for a cool combination of colours :)

I had the same feeling about our school construction project. It is amazing how perfectly it all comes together. I guess we just have to have faith when the projects are beyond our expertise. Sort of like life in general, don't you think?

Awesome pop of color, Rick. They are laying gas lines down Main Street in my town and I have often thought of taking a photo but the heavy police presence always makes me resist the temptation. I can't wait to see the finished bridge.

Looking forward to seeing your pictures of different stages leading up to the finished project.
