Into The Past

After work I went on a little walk around an old church in town. This is one church I want to go through, but I was always fascinated by the beautiful old ornate iron fence they have around the grounds. I am not certain, but I believe it looks to be original to the building. Just the style and the way it is made, I don't think you'll see fencing made like this today. I was playing around with different angles, and I believe this one in particualr gives you the best look into the past.

The wrought-iron fences of yesteryear are always so beautiful with their intricate and repeated designs. I think you captured this one quite well and the processing adds to the feeling of antiquity.

Yes, I can feel the past here, both from your photo and your awesome processing. I really like the angle you took with this. And I agree with your comment that early morning or late afternoon/early evening offers the best light. No more noon shots for me!
