no trespassing. I thought this warning sign was a little odd, but, I obeyed it, this time. Last week I drove through it in order to turn around to get a photo of the angel. I didn't see the sign then. I either missed it or they saw me and put up the sign, LOL.
You know, I have to chuckle over this- not because of the sign (it makes sense to me if you're visiting the grave of loved one, you don't want just anybody to walk in and have a picnic!) but because we have a neighbor who just put up a no trespassing sign on her property and one of these days I'm going to go photograph it- you'll see why. Good catch.
Lovely shot.
I'm amazed that statue is still in one piece.
We have had many attacks on our cemetaries here with destruction of these wonderful statues.
Well as my father used to say, "They're dying to get in there." I remember a time when I was a teen ager when kids used to hang out in the local cemetery smoking and making mischief. That's probably the issue here.
No trespassing or...? How are you supposed to visit the graves? That's weird, I've never seen a sign like that on a graveyard unless it closed at night time.
This is a beautiful photo, Rick. I've never heard of a cemetary with a sign like that. If you get caught, just say you have "cemetery business" and that you are checking the place out for a future resting spot. But then again, I'm climbing over fences, trespassing and contributing to the delinquency of a minor lately so maybe you shouldn't listen to me.
