It was a bit chilly outside again today, and we had rain earlier in the morning, but later it did clear up a bit, allowing me some time outside with my camera. While I was out walking around this afternoon taking photos, I decided to include a selfie, and add one more photo to the weekly theme. As human beings, we are magnificent creatures, quite intricate in our make-up. No two persons are alike, including "identical" twins. Even though identical twins come from the same egg that divides, the DNA many not divide equally, so therefore, they are not truly identical. The fingerprints of identical twins are also different. For those of us who are Parents, we know how different our Children are. It all makes life so much more interesting. Just think how boring this world would be if we were all alike. I hope you all had a wonderful Saturday, and here's wishing you a better tomorrow.
Another wonderful selfie, Rick! Thank goodness for diversity. It was chilly up here as well - even had some light snow last night. Rain forcasted for the week, though. March is always a mixed bag of weather for us.
This is a fabulous selfie, Rick. Love this in sepia .. makes you look "warm!" And I know that you really are a warm and kind-hearted gentle human creature! Great photo for the theme.
I thought about doing a portrait for the theme too, because I agree with you that humans are pretty magnificent creatures. Like minds, Rick. I'm glad you realized the shot. Fabulous selfie! I'm still working up to doing one. Today I realized that even though we have thousands of photos, there are very few of me because I've always been the family photographer. I bought a remote, but I haven't had a chance to even try it.
This is a GREAT selfie. You've inspired me to look back a few days on my camera, when I was practicing hula in an empty room. It may have to be used for this theme. This is such a great shot, you may want to use it as your 1" profile photo. :)
