It has been a rough and unsettling day for the boys. Strangers in, and out of the house, trying to lure them closer so they could pet them, but no way that was going to happen, at least not on the first day. Who is boss here anyway. The closest they were allowed was about a hands length away, then the contractors got the "don't come any closer" growl. After they wrapped it up for the day, the gate came down, and me and the boys went upstairs so they could check it all out. With everything out of order, they don't know what's going on. Kiko sat at the top of the stairs and watched as though he was expecting the strangers to return at any moment. He's cute, and appears harmless, but he does not back down. Hopefully tomorrow will be less stressful.
See if you can get your hands on the children's picture book , The Great Gracie Chase" about a little dog who didn't like it when the painters came and unsettled her life. You will definitely relate!
Gorgeous capture in b&w ....such silky looking fur! What a beautiful dog. I totally understand about pets and "their home!" Strangers not allowed .. or else. Maybe by the end of the project they'll all be friends. :)
Beautiful shot of Kiko. Paraphrasing from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, "And though he be but little, he is fierce." I love how shiny his fur looks and the black & white shows so much detail. Bravo!
I hope all is well, Rick. You are in my thoughts. I'm still on a break from 365, but I stopped in tonight to check in on the people I can't find on FB who I miss. You are at the top of the list.
