Life can be quite a challenge, and sometimes it can be filled with moments of pain, and seemingly endless stress. Through the stress of life, and life's difficult times, we were slowly formed into the person we are today, hopefully stronger and more resilient than before. Even in life's most difficult times, new life, new hope, and a new found strength can abound. Sometimes it is impossible to imagine how anything good could possible come out of the situation we find ourselves in, but in time, we begin to see the possibilities that lie ahead.
Well thought out words there, Rick. And yes, life can be like a rollercoaster sometimes. But when you come out the other side, that rollercoaster ride is worth all the trouble it's caused sometimes; as it's become the learning curve you need to keep you going in life.
Mistakes are made when life seems sad & no way forward then next minute something perks you up...we have to plod on till we find our way again but all makes us stronger.
I'm not sure if I fav'd this because of the image (which I love -- the texture, tone, colors) or the words you put with it. Reminders like that are always good to have. Haha, if our stresses showed like that gnarled bark, I suppose I'd be among the gnarliest, but you know what -- I'd have green growth and little shoots of hope, too. Love this, thank you!
So true, my friend, so true! I read a quote the other day...forgot the exact wording, but it was saying nobody ever really grows or learns from the "good times." haha But so true!
Well written words of wisdom, and I like also the processing you've done here. That dark and toughened bark with the new shoots of green is a clever theme.
Will you be cheering for the Penguins tonight? We live just outside of Pittsburgh.
