New Air by digitalrn

New Air

This week has been a little rough. Postpones the installation of our new Furnace and air conditioning last week because we expected the arrival of the Department of Health for our annual inspection at work, but they didn't come. So this week when after we arranged for the installation, they show up at work, and I cannot be home, so Josie stayed home two days so they could do the job. It is now finished. The weather cooperated, and we did find out we must now replace the main water shut off valve in the basement. They were unable to turn off the water to modify the one furnace hook-up. so once that is done they can complete the entire process, but at least we have heat and air, whatever we need. This outdoor unit is like twice the size of our last one.
This looks & sounds like an expensive piece of kit! One thing about our weather we need heat in the winter but thankfully no air conditioning needed at any time!

Quite an overhaul and I don't think any home improvement project goes off without some sort of hitch!
