I put on the last coat of paint Saturday and today brought it up from the basement and put it in its place. Josie was very satisfied with the outcome and now has a little more cabinet space. Every little bit of extra space is nice because in the older homes, cabinet space is usually at a premium. When we took over my Grandparent's home they had one huge tall wall cabinet, that's it. We have since remodeled, but even with that, a little more will never hurt.
Looks like you did a nice job. I understand the problem with storage space. The house where I'm now living had 2 closets when I bought it. DH has helped out by building 3 more and we also had the kitchen outfitted with cabinets.
