It was probably intentional but usually when you see something like this it's just a matter of growing out your hair! You caught the very intriguing shot here!
Not sure about the growing it out theory because most hair colors like this I thought were semi or Demi permanent and washed out after so many shampoos. So you could not get roots this long and still have such bright pink at bottom... It would have faded
