What started out a fairly simple project of moving my Josie's sewing nook upstairs, soon turned into an all day affair after offering to assist in the re-arranging of our bedroom. It is something we have been wanting to do for a long time. Due to the heavy furniture, it meant tearing it down, removing the drawers from the dressers, sweeeping the carpet, cleaning the windows, up and down the stairs, going out for new curtains, buying a new blind for the window since the one that was up ended up tearing (I think that may have been planned) but anyway, it is finished, and all is well, but oh my aching back. I am not used to doing all this in one day. When on Earth did I get that old?
Rick this makes me smile ...join the crowd... and then wait till you're my age..I leave the heavy work to my husband.. but you know it was worth it..your bedroom looks great.
Must have been a very hard day for you, Rick. When my wife proposes a small change in the house setting, I get very worried and suspicious because at the end I would have to turn the house upside down. Hope your back is ok now.
Oh bless your heart Rick.... I know just what you mean... our bodies just aren't so able to withstand such hard work these days... however your tablets and a good soak in the tub will help a great deal!! Hope you feel better very soon!! ♥
I can surely sympathize! But I am usually the one doing all the moving by myself! I am sure your aches and pains and the reason why you got them were not unnoticed. If Jeff is around to help me when I have a project like that, I am thanking him for days!! Thank goodness for ibuprofen!
