365 project story.

So..I remembered this game that I played at a masquerade with some friends.We said a word and then started a story about that and I thought we could give it a try here.

Our title is 365 project.I'll say a sentence and then each of you must continue the story with another sentence( only one),so that is has a connection with the last one.You can also put a photo near your sentence.
Hope it's not gonna be too childish and you'll like this idea.let's begin:


365 project

I started this project after a friend of mine told me about it, and it turned out to be a great experience for me.

I found myself seeing the world differently, looking at something and seeing beauty rather than just metal and rocks.

I have even ventured out of my comfort zone and taken hikes into the wilderness, seeking out the perfect location for a photo.

And in doing so realized, I am not alone in the wilderness!

My neighbors have seen laying in my front lawn, searching for beauty in the dewdrops. Much to my surprise, I found two little bugs amongst my sparkly dewdrops.

Those same neighbors just shook their heads when I bundled up to catch a sunrise in the middle of winter. They all know I hate early morning and cold.

So many things I overcame on my quest for composition...one of which was the fear of walking out upon the ice...

and the fear of photographing strangers...

I ventured back to the ice and there it was. I had lost it when I was last here.

After retrieving my shoe, I've wandered a lot and even gotten down on my knees to examine the little things.

I found beauty in things I would have thought ugly before, like dumpsters and backalleys. Even remembered how to dance among them

Bad weather days turned into opportunities to get that one shot of the day and I started to enjoy the rain!

...even if I was stuck at home. And I started to get songs stuck in my head because of it.

I found that people you "know" through the Internet can become real

and that inanimate objects can have personality and depth.

Depth being the study of light and shadow...

and sometimes the shadows you didn't want, end up being the best part

and that some of the best parts of life to capture are not too far from home!

For home is where the heart lies and 'wherever your heart is, that is where you'll find your treasure'.

And a treasure can be as simple as the dawn of a new day....

And to treasure memories of life brings us to take in the images, big or small & carry them with us forever

Such as an image from our childhood of a tree blossoming in the spring.

Or something as simple a soap bubbles blown at night off the porch

precious moments with loved ones, uncertain if it will be the last time we are together.

Loving them even though all we have left is a flower in their memory.

And what is at the top of the hill? I don't know, but we'll continue on our journey to see where it leads us.

A 365 journey teaches you to look at light and shade and appreciate the time of day...

sometimes the time of day is -30c, and it is time to be creative indoors, or at least try something new, and experiment so you learn, even if its just over a quick snack.

Or just soaking up beautiful sights from around the world through the PC with a nice cup of tea....

learning about different places and people and challenging ourselves

Although we may have fear we also gain a desire to try what doesnt come naturally.
