I know that sucks and the photog is an idiot, but that picture of them holding the empty frame is just too funny.

thats so sad, but when you let a mate do your photos, probably for free, you have to be prepared for worst case scenarios like crappy pictures and lost pictures, thats why there are professionals out there for hire.

@kmrtn6 Yes, but an element of common sense is to be expected too. He carried the card around without copying the data for a whole week before he lost it!

Wow that would be ver disappointing as the pictures are so interesting to look at after the wedding. And the fact that he didn't even say sorry is even worse. I would feel so terrible.

Very sad for the bride and groom--although caveat emptor applies. And it's not just amatuer photographers who mess up wedding photos. A reputable studio managed to muck up the development of the negatives for my sister's wedding 15 years ago so badly that the ony photographs we have of her in her wedding finery are the ones taken at the hotel when she was getting dressed, and the only ones we have of the reception are the ones that my toddler daughter took with the disposable cameras that were set out on each of the tables for the guests to have fun with. Needless to say, there were a lot of pictures of blurry knees--although she did get a few really nice ones by accident.

Just two pictures, really? You mean no one at the wedding had a decent camera? Impossible! I do feel badly for them, though.
