"The photo will be part of the exhibition 'The Birth of Photography' which will open on September 9 at the Reiss Engelhorn Museums in Mannheim, Germany."

last year I did a month long series of shots trying to reproduce the feel of historic photo processes using digital post production with a write up of each of the original techniques, and heliography was the first shot of this series. this is what I came up with
