"Mervyn O'Gorman was 42 when he took these pictures of his daughter, Christina O'Gorman at Lulworth Cove, in the English county of Dorset. He photographed Christina wearing a red swimming costume and red cloak, a colour particularly suited to the early color Autochrome process"

Wow didn't know they were doing color back then.
@sioux the last pic talks about taking a long exposure time. I'm guessing that is the reason for no smiles.

Kazuo Ishiguro used photo #5 on the cover of "Never Let Me Go" in 2005. I recognized it. So weird to see it here!

@brigette Me, too, Brigette! I've read it two or 3 times and seen the movie. It's one of those stories that weirds me out every time. Yet I keep going back . . . :)
